The production for the film industry has 4 stages these are, the development, pre production, production and post production.
The Development:
In development a project producer(this could either be 1 person or a large group of people), the film Lee Daniels' The Butler had 41 project producers. Project producers

Pre Production:
Pre production is when every part of the film is created, a story board is used to create the visual ideas of what camera shots and effects will be used in the final creation of the film. This also helps the production team know a rough budget for the film.
Production:
Production is when the film crew will film the shots from the story board and keep filming until they are of a high professional standard, the actors and directors are also involved within this stage because they are needed to film the whole story.
